New Project ‘What there is most on earth is landscape. No matter how much of the rest is missing, landscape has always been left over...’.
This is how the Nobel Prize winner José Saramago begins writing in his book ‘Lifted from the ground’ and this reflection makes us think about the importance of precision in the implantation of a house.
The Cantabrian Mountains and the nearby meadows worked for hundreds of years serve as a motif for the design of this new single-family house in the central area of the Principality of Asturias. Far from the cliché of the ‘traditional Asturian house’, this house does not reinterpret the traditional, but describes the traditional from a contemporary perspective.
