The typology of the house interprets Asturian ancestral architecture, which is characterized by clear geometry and a main facade oriented toward both the sun and the views. In this case, looking out toward the Cantabrian Mountains and their snow-capped peaks in winter.
The layout follows an elemental logic: the master bathroom is positioned to the East (Water), while the living room faces West (Fire). All family rooms are guaranteed south-facing views.
The approach to the house from the north of the plot culminates in an anteroom or corrada the typical of Asturian farmhouses where the structural volumes flank the central void. An individual tree is placed at the center of this space. The pond or pool is situated to the southwest, and the architectural ensemble is completed by a south-facing pergola surrounded by lush vegetation.

La tipología de la vivienda interpreta la arquitectura solariega asturiana la cual se caracteriza por una geometría rotunda y una fachada principal orientada hacía el sol y las vistas. En este caso, hacia la cordillera cantábrica con sus montes nevados en invierno.
El baño principal se coloca a naciente (agua) y el espacio de estar hacia el oeste (fuego). Todas las habitaciones familiares tienen vistas hacia el sur garantizadas.
El camino hacia la casa por el norte de la parcela termina en una antesala o una corrada típica de las casas labriegas asturianas, donde los volúmenes flanquean el vacío. En el centro de este espacio se coloca un árbol. El estanque o alberca se coloca al suroeste. El conjunto arquitectónico se completamente por una pérgola al sur rodeada de vegetación.
