A landscape within a room
Interior Design
Typically, in interior architecture, the space often serves as a backdrop to the furniture and objects it contains. However, in this modest project to enhance a bedroom, the approach is reversed.
Concept
Conceptually, we draw inspiration from a Slovenian landscape—a meadow featuring a traditional “kozolec”, surrounded by a forest of oak and beech trees—where empty space takes center stage, harmoniously integrating all elements.
Instead of individual pieces like a bed, small table, bookshelf, and chest of drawers, they are unified within a single perimeter structure. This structure not only incorporates a radiator beneath a window and a television but also creates a new visual horizon at eye level when lying on the bed.
