Flavio Máximo Continuity
This project is defined by its commitment to urban porosity and landscape integration. Rather than occupying the site traditionally, the design adopts a "zero-buildability" approach for the ground floor, transforming it into a public threshold that serves as a direct topographical extension of Flavio Máximo Park.
By analyzing existing spontaneous paths and the site's natural slope, the ground floor and first basement are configured to allow the park to flow through the structure. To enhance the environmental quality and maximize solar incidence, the building’s depth was refined to 16 meters. This strategic reduction, compensated by an elongated volume, ensures a ground floor defined by light and spatial fluidity rather than density.
The result is a structure that doesn't merely sit adjacent to the park but becomes an active participant in the city's green fabric.
